• Bolmo the small man

Our Creation Ancestor Bolmo made this Country, bringing with him the mandudjmi the Green Plum bushtucker. Bolmo was a small man who was carrying his dillybag filled with mandudjmi seeds. As he travelled, his bag got caught on some rocks and ripped, dropping a trail of mandudjmi seeds. Bolmo left this for us as our bushtucker. The mandudjmi trees are small ones like Bolmo, we call those small plum trees Anwarrbarr. They mark the path Bolmo travelled and we can find them near our homeland. Bolmo now rests on our Country by the river.

  • Djaddokorddokord/Northern Rosella

This is the totem for our family. Djaddokorddokord reminds us to stay connected and return to Country to keep it healthy for future generations.

We have used the beautiful colours of Djaddokorddokord together with the Green Plum to represent Anwarrbarr Tours.
